Quarantine: Day ?

Set a rowing record, a couple of 2020 juggling records, & a 2020 squatting record.

Did some jogging. No records. This quarantine is a rollercoaster. Some really good days & some stinkers. Feeling weird & sick today so just happy to get something done.

This post feels low energy. Probably because it is low energy.

Resenting the Gamified Life

I resent writing this blog every day.
But that's because I'm a recovering degenerate.

it could be the keystone of this writing hobby/profession.

& so it has gone from being pure fun to a mixture of fun & resistance,
the resistance that is always with most of us.

Anyway, this is easy.
I need to exercise to be able to write.

So we're building good habits here.
Or trying to, at least.

Set a rowing record today, left-handed juggling, speed skater reps (22/40).

& my favorite, I set more records today than I did yesterday.

Two Days is a Streak

Today I celebrate two days in a row of doing this, posting a personal record.

Just being proactive enough to do something that takes willpower. THAT is something I haven't had consistently for a long time.

#2: Single, alt mountain climbers (32).

#3: 2020 Rowing Single & Total records. (4m 18; 10 min 14 seconds total.)

#4 (oops): Wanted to set a record in "free" writing, also known as "automatic writing." Failed to attempt.

A bunch of 2020 juggling records. First time really juggling in a while. All-time record 60 minutes flat.

Started 100 pushup streak.

Total of 4 streaks, and 8 separate records.

Personal Bests in a Time of Coronavirus

April 9, 2020

I set two records today.

Modest af records.

2020 longest continuous row (machine):
4minutes, 11 seconds.

💪

Also:
Alternate side Mountain Climbers, continuous:
30 reps at once
and total.

Nothing special. But this quarantine has been going on for 3+ weeks and it took me that long to "get with the program," which is to say -- a lot of people are doing a lot of self-improvement in this time, and I have been lacking.

Hopefully, this is the start of a new trend/streak.

Cheers.
