I set 10 personal records on Sunday,
& so far, only one today (15 Ab Pull-ups at one time).
It's not that I didn't set any personal records
on Monday or Tuesday --
we set personal records everyday, meh --
I just forgot to or didn't care to record them.
I just forgot to or didn't care to record them.
The main point of this blog & this lifestyle
is not to break records,
but to record records being broken.
My record for days gone without recording any
Some of Sunday's records were Squats at one time (31)
& total Squats in one day (91).
I also stood on each leg with the rest of my body
parallel,
or attempting to be parallel to the ground,
my arms spread like wings.
or attempting to be parallel to the ground,
my arms spread like wings.
On the left leg, I did it for 39 seconds;
only 27 seconds for the right leg.
Soon, even possibly momentarily,
I'll attempt to break those leg standing endurance records.
They're easy. It's nice to have easy ones.
On January 1, 2014, I decided to start learning to juggle.
Ever since, I've been setting endurance records,
seeing how long I can juggle without dropping
one of the three tennis balls I use.
By April, my record was 30 minutes.
Over the summer, I was all around 36 to 38 minutes
at a time,
in a row.
Two weeks ago I got to 54 minutes.
For the last half (I feel like I know when this starts
because the sweat starts to bead around minute 20),
I only made it thru because I kept repeating
this meh-ntra:
"Yes more peace please,
yes more love please,
yes more health please."
According to Guinness, the record for juggling
endurance-wise, is around 12 hours.
I think I have to lose another 20 pounds before I can
seriously attempt this record.
Not to mention I'll have to keep practicing,
which is meditation,
which is meditation,
which is why I like it,
which is why it's a flow activity, juggling,
cuz it's not too hard, but not too easy.
You really don't have a choice BUT to meditate,
when you've been juggling for 30 plus minutes.
The juggling record is on the distant horizon,
but thinking about it,
in the sense of endurance records,
got me thinking
& the Guinness Book of World Records people
officially approved me to attempt the endurance record
for marathon game-playing on a tablet.
The current record is somewhere north of 26 hours.

As soon as I can find a suitable charity
& place to hold the event
(it needs to take place in public with witnesses),
that'll be the first world record I attempt.

In the meantime, more records,
& better recordkeeping re: records.
& send me your records;
post them below.
Let me know if you disagree that setting personal records
is the one thing you could start doing today to change your life most positively.
